In December 2024, Los Pobres Artistas presented "Home Is Where the Heart Is" at Medicine for Nightmares in San Francisco—a powerful showcase of muralism and community storytelling. As an Oakland-based collective of artists, educators, and creatives bound by radical vision, we centered our practice on community healing, shared memory, and dismantling borders through art. This exhibition embodied our belief in art’s transformative potential and celebrated creative resilience.
